Hello physics students. How are you? I am fine.
In case you didn’t notice, I am reusing an old course. Why? This way, you can still view any of the resources I have posted in the past.
Now for some beginning of the semester comments.
- Syllabus. I have posted the syllabus up at the top. Click it. Read it. Live it. Oh, I will probably add a statement at the bottom of that syllabus soon – but the main ideas won’t change.
- WebAssign. If you read the syllabus, you will see that I assign online homework with WebAssign (http://webassign.net). Yes, there is a fee. No, it doesn’t count towards your grade. Homework is practice, you don’t get points for practice. If you don’t want to pay the fee, then just pick problems out of the book to work. If you don’t want to practice physics, you might have a bad time.
- Self Enroll in WebAssign. Go to WebAssign. Click on the part that says “I have a class key” and then enter the following key: selu 5325 8681. Note that you can use WebAssign for two weeks without paying. There is no excuse to not at least try it.
- Notes to Future Students: Your classmates from the past want to give you some tips about this class. Here is what they said when I asked them what you should know.
